Pakiri School – a unique blend of Tikanga Māori & Montessori
Nau mai, Haere mai (welcome)
What Makes us Different?
We are developing a unique educational approach, which weaves together the principles of Tikanga Māori and Montessori. This comes to life through the evolution of our local curriculum, which connects to the natural resources on our doorstep, our history and the local community.
Our Learning Pathways
We have two mixed-age learning pathways, Modern Learning and Montessori, under the school’s whakatuakī, Kotahi te Hikoi Whakamua, Forward Together. We offer highly individualised learning programmes in mixed-age classes and run from year one to eight.
